Not financial advice

Nothing on SteadyETF, including any calculator result, chart, or written content, is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We are not financial advisors, and using this site doesn't create an advisor-client or fiduciary relationship of any kind. Our calculators are educational tools to help you understand how an investment has behaved historically, not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific ETF or build any specific portfolio.

Illustrative purposes only

Every result our calculators produce is a simulation based on historical price, dividend, and split data for the funds you select. It is not a real investment, we do not offer investment opportunities, manage money, or promise any return, and no output from this site should be treated as a projection of future performance.

Past performance

Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. Markets that grew over a period you test may not grow the same way going forward, and periods that declined don't predict future declines either.

Data accuracy

Price, dividend, and split data comes from a third-party provider (EODHD) and is ingested into our own database on a periodic basis. We take reasonable care in how this data is processed, but we don't independently verify every figure against every fund's official records, and we can't guarantee the data is complete, current, or free of error. If you spot something that looks wrong, we'd genuinely like to know, see our Contact page.

What isn't modeled

Our calculators don't account for taxes, broker or platform fees, trading commissions, FX conversion costs, or inflation. Every figure shown is nominal. The fund's ongoing operating expenses are generally reflected in its historical performance, but the calculator does not separately model or isolate expense-ratio costs. See each calculator's own "Historical Data & Methodology" section for the complete list of what is and isn't modeled for that tool.

No warranty, use at your own risk

SteadyETF is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or any calculator result. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. You are responsible for your own investment decisions. If you need advice about your individual circumstances, consider consulting a qualified financial professional.
