This policy explains what information SteadyETF ("we", "us") collects when you use this site, and how it's used. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.

The short version

Our calculators don't require an account or personal information to use. Calculator inputs are sent to our server to perform the calculation but are not associated with an account or retained as personal information. We may receive basic technical information through our hosting infrastructure, and we collect information you choose to provide directly, such as when you contact us.

Information you provide to us

If you contact us through our Contact page or by email, we collect whatever information you include, typically your name, email address, and the content of your message, solely to respond to you. We don't use this information for marketing or sell it to third parties. We may use service providers where necessary to operate the website and respond to your requests.

Information the calculators use

The ETF and portfolio selections, dates, and amounts you enter into our calculators are sent to our server to run the calculation and returned to your browser, they are not linked to you personally, stored against an account (we don't have accounts), or retained in a way that identifies you.

Cookies & tracking

As of this policy's last update, SteadyETF does not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and does not run third-party analytics on this site. If that changes in the future, for example if we add basic, privacy-respecting usage analytics to understand which pages are useful, we'll update this section first and, where required by law, ask for your consent before anything is set.

Server logs

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and reliability purposes (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps). We don't use these logs to build a profile of individual visitors.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over any personal information we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Since the only personal information we typically hold is whatever you've sent us via our contact form, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to contact us directly using the details below.

Children

SteadyETF is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18.
